Dr. Philip Anderson, a native of San Antonio, Texas graduated from Howard Payne University with a degree in Mathematics prior to pursuing his doctoral studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  Dr. Anderson then began his career teaching mathematics at Texas Tech University, South Plains College, and eventually at Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs.  While at Texas Tech, Dr. Anderson completed a Master's degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Teaching, and a Doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration, with an emphasis in becoming a college president.  His dissertation work  defined the roles of community college Chief Academic Officers who are in charge of developing faculty, curriculum, accreditation standards, and pedagogical techniques. In his career, Dr. Anderson has helped build pathways for students to work at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.  He has become a master teacher of mathematics. 


He enjoys playing basketball, creating business models, and spending time with his family. Today Dr. Anderson's passion is to build a strong school with the Bible as the framework for every discipline.  Dr. Anderson's conviction is that the moral virtues created in the soul of a student, through a relationship with Jesus Christ, is the only answer for the moral decay we see in our society today.  His desire is to equip the next generation for a lifetime of devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ and to serve Kings and paupers equally with a heart of passion.
