Born and raised in Southeast Alaska, Mr. Buyarski earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Gonzaga University and is currently completing his M.A. in Classical Education Leadership at Benedictine College. Before joining Holy Family Classical School, he served for fifteen years as Academic Services Director at Kolbe Academy, a classical, Catholic online and homeschool program, where he oversaw accreditation, academic advising, curriculum development, college counseling, and school partnerships. Mr. Buyarski has also taught theology, mathematics, and science at the high school level.

He and his wife Melissa are blessed with five boys who currently attend Holy Family as well as a new baby girl.
