Holy Family Classical High School

rich in Catholic Tradition and Western Thought

At Holy Family Classical High School, we are dedicated to forming true Christian disciples through a rigorously Catholic and classical education that places Christ—who is the Source of all Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Unity—at the center of every classroom and every life. As part of the parish school founded by St. Katharine Drexel well over a century ago, our students are drawn into the rich tradition of the Church, steeped in daily prayer, sacramental life, and the study of the Western intellectual heritage that has sustained the faithful throughout the ages. Here, young men and women are not merely prepared for college, but are molded in virtue and wisdom, equipped to defend the Faith, love the Church, and live courageously for Christ in an increasingly secular world. With a community devoted to both academic excellence and spiritual formation, Holy Family is a place where the truths of our Faith are lived, taught, and celebrated.

Tulsa’s First Catholic High School

Oklahoma’s First Accredited Classical Catholic High School

Holy Family Classical High School is the first accredited classical Catholic high school in the State of Oklahoma.

The accreditation team praised the school for its strong Catholic identity. Students pray many times every day, attend Mass every week with the entire school body, and adore the Blessed Sacrament in the Saint Katharine Drexel Chapel atop the school building.

The High School traces its roots to the 1920s. The parish school had just moved to its current site next to Holy Family Cathedral and was enjoying a new and large campus. The high school graduated classes from 1928 to 1960 when both Holy Family’s high school and neighboring Christ the King parish’s Marquette high school closed their doors to bolster attendance at the new Bishop Kelley High School.

Holy Family continued as a grade school from 1960 until the high school reopened in 2021.

Invigorated with a classical curriculum, Holy Family Classical High School attracts students and teachers from as far away as Stillwater, Oklahoma. The high school’s graduation in 2024 is the first of many to come.
