4TH GRADE STILL LIFE
Fourth grade has used the still life method to create and paint a vase to hold the flowers that fell from Juan Diego’s cloak, given to him by Our Lady of Guadalupe. The painting is done with acrylic on card stock. After learning color theory, each student was only given the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) as well as black and white, and had to mix colors to create their desired shares, tints, and tones.
5TH GRADE OIL PASTEL
Fifth grade went on quite an adventure through Egypt to capture one of the seven wonders of the world. They used oil pastels, pastel paper, and their creativity to bring this spectacular view right here to Oklahoma for you to see.
6TH GRADE HOLY CARDS
Sixth grade takes us a little closer and smaller. They used very small paint brushes and acrylic paint to capture the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The students learned color theory and then were only given the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) as well as black and white. The mixed colors match those of the original image. On the back, you will read the prayer they chose or created for their Holy card.
