Teacher of the Year Award

We’re pleased to announce Holy Family Classical School’s selection for the 2024 St. Francis of Assisi Teacher of the Year award, Mrs. Becky White. Mrs. White has been a tireless advocate for our students, seeking to lead them closer to Christ and helping them to fulfill their God-given abilities. She has also enthusiastically worked to support and encourage her fellow teachers in growing in their ability to instruct and inspire students and was instrumental in the accreditation process in the spring of 2024. In the words of her fellow teachers who nominated her for the award:

“Becky White truly embodies the Christ-like virtues of Saint Francis of Assisi through her deep respect for each child’s dignity. Her gentle, supportive way with students effortlessly wins their hearts.”

“Becky gives completely of herself in serving our students, working to help each one with individual needs. She put in numerous hours of extra work last year throughout the accreditation process, heading the most detailed section, and still finds time to help other teachers as needed.”

Watch Mrs. White receive her award at the annual Saint Francis of Assisi Mass

Bishop Konderla will celebrate the annual Mass on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Mrs. White and teachers from other local Catholic schools will each receive awards from the bishop. Previous HFCS recipients are Trish Spoerl (2020), Veronica Allen (2021), Katherine Fugikawa (2022), and Brian Schafer (2023).
